OUR MISSION is to make a sustainable, long-term difference to human health. We do this by investing in strategic partnerships and innovative solutions that add value to society and make a significant difference to people’s lives.


We focus on three key interventions:
People, Partnerships and Investment to empower societal change and make a measurable difference to the health and well-being of others.

Together with a range of partners, we support programs that help mothers and babies survive childbirth, and help those who struggle to survive reach their full potential and thrive-no matter where they live.


Working with community-based partners, we are educating communities on how to prevent and reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as HIV/AIDS, obesity and diabetes.


We are inspired to help create a world where people, no matter their circumstances, have access to quality health care. We collaborate with respected groups to train doctors & nurses.



The Trust Secondment Strategy Program was launched in 2014 and is a key initiative within the Trust 2020 Strategy.

It enables selected J&J talent in the EMEA region to give back to society in a unique way, by sharing their expertise and skill sets with NGO partners in long-term assignments. This in turn helps to build the NGO’s organisational capacity and outreach.

Program aims:

  • To identify and provide much needed skill sets to our NGO partners
  • To enhance the professional and personal development of J&J employees
  • To strengthen the trust and reputation of J&J by bringing Our Credo to life


What makes this program unique?

  • Our commitment to place the needs of the NGOs first – matching the right employee with the right skill sets and expertise to make a measurable and sustainable impact to the NGO and its business operations, ultimately supporting the populations they serve.
